On the 19th of August 2019, the seniors of our location went on a fun picnic trip to Volkening Lake, 900 W. Schaumburg Road, Schaumburg. About 50 seniors and staff went to this beautiful picnic spot. As soon as they arrived, they had a healthy breakfast. After that, some of them went to an open gym located at this spot and worked out. They felt very refreshed. Some seniors went boating in groups. They also played bean bags and throw ball. A healthy, home-cooked and nutritional meal was served for lunch. More games were played until it was time for them to return to their homes. According to the seniors they felt that going to trips like these make them feel happy and at peace.
