  • Seniors Observe World Health Day!

On April 7th, 2022, in observance of the World Health Day, Seniors were briefed on the ongoing health issues that concern the planet and to spread awareness on the overall health and well-being of the world. We must focus on taking actions to keep humans and the planet healthy! In this busy world where more time is concentrated on work than one’s health, there are plenty of things you can do to make sure you stay healthy and happy.

International University of Vedic Wellness founded by Dr. Mrs. Santosh Kumar excels in providing such help to inculcate ancient knowledge and practices, to lead a stress & pain free lifestyle for Seniors and helps Young Adults lead a better life ahead. On World Health Day, seniors visited the Sai Temple in Rolling Meadows, where Volunteers Ms. Ujwala Pawar and Ms. Usha Patel guided the seniors to practice Laughter Yoga. Laughter yoga (Hasyayoga) is a modern exercise involving prolonged voluntary laughter. This type of yoga is based on the belief that voluntary laughter provides similar physiological and psychological benefits as spontaneous laughter.

World Health Day may just be one day. But we must realize the importance of health which should be ongoing at all times of our lives.
