She explained about the programs and had brochures for basic Information and Assistance, Adult Protective Services, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, Money Management Program, and Senior Services. She also provided the public transportation phone numbers for all the cities in DuPage County, the eligibility, scheduling, cost, area limits, and ride hours including wheelchair accessibility. Transportation is a pressing problem for immigrant seniors; hence they were very thankful for in-depth information about transportation options they can avail of.
