Information Session for DuPage County Seniors
On 30th November 2023 DuPage County Community Services Outreach Case Manager Amy Gaydos came to speak to the Naperville Adult Day Care clients on all the resources available in DuPage County. She explained about the programs and had brochures for basic Information and Assistance, Adult Protective Services, Long Term Care Ombudsman Program, Money Management Program, and Senior Services. She also provided the public transportation phone numbers for all the cities in DuPage County, the eligibility, scheduling, cost, area limits, and ride hours including wheelchair accessibility. Transportation is a pressing problem for immigrant seniors; hence they were very thankful for in-depth information about transportation options they can avail of. It was an extremely informative session overall through which the seniors got to know available services and resources in DuPage County that can access to enhance their lives.
