We are mourning the passing of five more seniors due to Covid-19, namely…..Mr. Harilal Thakkar, Mrs. Padmaben Thakkar, Ms. Nawmla Htoo, Abdul Qureshi and Aisa Talic. Also, we pass on our sincere condolence to the family of our Home Care Aide, Mr. Pravinbhai Patel who passed away.
We are especially missing this lovely couple of Naperville, who were married for 71 years. Mr. Harilal who died on May 17, 2020, and his wife after two days in Edward Hospital, creating a news wave on Chicago’s Channel-5 News. We pray for the families for their irreparable loss.
Their granddaughter, Julie Thakkar, said the family has found comfort in that they passed together.
“It is heartbreaking and we all will truly miss them,” she said. “They always lived their life together, so in a way, it’s a happy ending.”
The couple is survived by four children, eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. (ABC 7 Chicago)
