MAFS’s SAHELI Program was awarded by Skokie Village
MAFS’s SAHELI (South Asian Healthy Lifestyle Initiative) Research Study received Skokie’s 13th annual “Public Health Partners in Excellence” award! MAFS was honored to participate in the award ceremony as one of the key partners for the SAHELI program. Each year the Skokie Health and Human Services Department and Board of Health recognize individuals or organizations that have provided exceptional support for public health initiatives in the community. This year they selected the SAHELI and their team for this award. The award ceremony took place on August 21st, 2023, where our Grants Director Roshita Pandey, and Community Health Specialist Himali Bharucha from MAFS were present.
