UMAS believes that invigorating activities and outings for seniors can lead to improvements in their Physical, Emotional, and Mental Health. Aging does not mean you cannot enjoy outside activities. UMAS helps seniors progress through life with fun-filled trips. This time it was the Pottawatomie Park.
Niles and Vernon Hills seniors visited this park and enjoyed the history connected to it. The park’s name honors the Pottawatomie Indians, one of nine tribal groups living around the Great Lakes after 1600.
It was a sunny day, so the Seniors walked around the park which was uniquely decorated that depicted the tribal American Indian civilization. The seniors appreciated the unique and relaxed experience they had by visiting this park!
